First launched in 2011, this iteration stays true to the original Nike KD 4 "Christmas." The innovative basketball from NBA player Kevin Durant boasts a Hyperfuse upper—a lightweight, three-layer composite that supports stability and breathability. A wraparound strap with perforations contains the midfoot, while the front lace closure secures the fit. Although the upper comes in Metallic Copper, black accents decorate the Swoosh logo on the strap, a mini Swoosh on the toe box, "35" on the tongue, and "KD" branding on the heel. In addition, the grippy rubber outsole provides traction and comes in black.
